Prior requirements

In accordance with Article 18 of Royal Decree 822/2021, of 28 September, establishing the organisation of university education and its quality assurance procedure:

Holding an official Spanish bachelor's degree or equivalent is a requirement for admission to a university master's programme; alternatively, applicants may hold another university master's degree, or qualifications of the same level as the Spanish bachelor's or master's degree issued by universities and higher education institutions of an EHEA country that grant access to master's studies in that country.

Likewise, holders of qualifications from education systems outside the EHEA that are equivalent to a bachelor's degree may be admitted to a university master's programme of the Spanish university system without needing official recognition (homologación) of their qualification, although the university must verify the level of training it represents, provided that the qualification grants access to postgraduate studies in the country where it was issued. In no case will admission through this route imply official recognition of the applicant's previous qualification or its recognition for any purpose other than pursuing the master's studies.

Likewise, in accordance with the first additional provision of the aforementioned Royal Decree concerning the validity of official university qualifications under the pre-EHEA system:

Holders of an official Spanish Licenciado/a, Arquitecto/a or Ingeniero/a degree may be admitted to university master's programmes.

Holders of an official Diplomado/a, Arquitecto/a Técnico/a or Ingeniero/a Técnico/a degree may be admitted to university master's programmes; the university, in the exercise of its autonomy, may require bridging courses if academically necessary.

The academic committee will assess the academic transcript, verifying that applicants have prior training of 18 ECTS in Business Management and Marketing. Of this training, at least 6 ECTS must be in Marketing. If not, it may be completed through the bridging courses included at the start of the master's
